Leading Flooring Innovation

Despite everyone having a floor, not everyone dreams of revolutionizing the flooring industry. Most people do hope to leave the world better than how we found it though. We strongly believe innovation, whether technological, whether it's adapting our production models, or it's creating new customer experiences, is also what will allow us to take our Environmental, Social and Governance initiatives to new levels.
Innovation will take our CSR initiatives to new levels
Our commitment to Sustainability is embedded in our strategy and integrated in all our activities, and we are fully committed and aligned with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals:

Abundant and Renewable Materials
  • Cork
Many product lines incorporate cork - a high-performance, versatile material that is an exceptional pre-attached underlay offering improved acoustic performance, mold resistance and a softer, more comfortable underfoot.
    About cork
Once the cork oak trees are about 25 years old the bark is traditionally stripped from the trunks every nine years. The trees live for 200 years.
  • Limestone
Limestone is a natural, abundant mineral calcite that we incorporate in our rigid core products. By replacing traditional LVT with rigid core solutions, we are able to dramatically reduce the use of PVC and Plasticizers.
LIFE CYCLE ASSESSMENT
Through Life Cycle Analysis’, we evaluate the environmental impact of our products throughout their entire lifespan. This analysis encompassed every stage, from raw material extraction to manufacturing and eventual end-of-life disposal. The insights gained from the LCA enabled us to issue Environmental Product Declarations (EDPs) for our Rigid Core Floors, providing transparent information to our customers regarding the environmental attributes of our products.

cfl-net-plus-image
Net Plus is a sustainable, hard-surface flooring underlay, fully made of recycled PET bottles, that comes pre-attached on certain CFL products lines. It is specially designed to not only reduce sound transfer and provide additional insultation and comfort, but also to be resistant to mold & fungus and be 100% recyclable at the end-of-life stage.
